Wednesday – Arrival

Thursday: Safari Blue trip
Following breakfast at 08:00 AM, you will be transported to Fumba for the Safari Blue trip. This exciting full-day adventure involves sailing on locally crafted dhows equipped with outboard motors, marine VHF radios, life jackets, and other safety gear. The dhow docks in a secure and shallow spot for snorkeling. High-quality snorkeling equipment is provided in various sizes. A delicious lunch is served on a sandbank or one of the many uninhabited islands in the area, featuring barbecued fish, rice, lentils, and fish curry. Refreshing fruit juice, mineral water, and assorted soft drinks are available during the entire tour. After lunch, guests can enjoy activities like sailing on an outrigger canoe made from a single mango tree, snorkeling, swimming, or simply unwinding. The return trip to Fumba is by sail, depending on the wind conditions, with an estimated arrival back at your hotel around 16:30.

Friday: Sunset Dhow Cruise
Following lunch, you will be guided to Kendwa Beach, known for its white sandy shore ideal for swimming and relaxation. Enjoy leisure time to discover and have fun until the dhow sets off for a sunset cruise trip. At 16:00, embark on the dhow for a captivating Zanzibar sunset experience. Cruise along the coast, witnessing the sun painting gold and amber colours as it sets. The tour concludes around 18:30. Evening: At 21:30 /22:00 transfer from the hotel to Cocobelo Club in Nungwi till mid night.

Saturday: Day at Leisure
Morning: Day at Leisure At 15h00, you will be transferred from the hotel to Kae Funk Sunset Beach Bar for dinner and beach party.

Sunday: Departure
Based on your flight schedule, our chauffeur will transfer your group from Kendwa Rocks Beach Hotel and whisk everyone off to Zanzibar airport for your smooth journey back home.

TOUR LOCATION

Beautiful, relatively tourist-free Kendwa lies on the northwest coast of Unguja, a spectacular tropical island just off the coast of Tanzania. Powder-fine white-sand beaches are lapped by crystal-clear turquoise waters, which contain an extraordinary underwater wonderland perfect for scuba diving. Other activities on offer include parasailing, banana boating, and jet skiing. The beach here is also famous for its exciting Full Moon Party. The tidal patterns here also allow for swimming at any time of the day or night. A unique and wonderful experience provided here is the chance to learn how to build traditional dhows. Village tours are also on offer.
